Who are these children? They are the stars of the 1910 and 1930 eras. Thank you for performing so well on Stage last week.

Measurement
Today we went outside with a metre ruler each. We started measuring some things around Clive School. We know not to click the ruler end to end with another ruler as that would not be an accurate way to measure. We needed to over-lay our rulers and start at the start measuring line.
Some of our measurments-
Deck to the Junior School playground - 19 metres and 74 centimetres
White line on the concrete - 27 metres and 66 centimetres
Hall Path - 25metres and 22 centimetres
We talked about our measurement estimates and then got into groups to check if our estimates were accurate. We discovered it is hard to measure something that measures EXACTLY two metres or four metres. We realise that you need to use the m.m., c.m. and metres to measure large objects correctly.
