Persuasive Argument

We have been learning to write persuasive arguments.  This means we are trying to persuade a person to believe or agree to something.

For a persuasive argument you need:
# to pick a side
# have a strong starting statement.  The end sentence should be the same.
# have three good points to back up your argument.

Here are some of our ideas.

You should not be allowed to bring toys to school because…

You might lose them

You might get them stolen

You might steal them

So should not be allowed to bring toys to School
